This is a compilation on the newly revamped WordSound label, which goes out of it's way to explore the melting pot of contemporary Brazilian Underground music but steering clear of the overdone genre of Baille Funk.
To be fair it sounds like it's business as usual for Word Sound here,but obviously with a strong Brazilian slant on things, so you get experimental dub, trip hop and bass heavy hip hop, techno,sort of jungle, doom metal tracks and even a kind of Brazilian take on Grime, all of it of an engaging and good standard with lots of percussion and local instrumental flavour.
