Infine veteran Rone (Parisian producer Erwen Castex has been with the label since 2008) makes a welcome comeback to Bleep land with this new EP, VOOD(OO). Acting as a medium between his last releases, So So So and Apache, this EP continues Rone’s legacy as a producer of widescreen ambition; capable of crafting electronic vistas and Border Community (Holden, Abbot, Fake) styled epics. Title track ‘Voo(doo)’ tells us much; a bubbling technoid monster that surges with power ambient pressure, and urgent, building percussion.
