Self-titled (kind of) new album (possibly their last) from School Of Seven Bells, described by the band as "a love letter from start to finish." Love letter why? In December of 2013, School of Seven Bells' Benjamin Curtis passed away after a battle with Lymphoma. In 2014, Curtis' band-mate, Alejandra Deheza, said she was working to complete a new album, featuring parts Curtis had recorded when he was alive. If you’ve been paying attention, School of Seven Bells do left of centre electronic-pop really well; only this time there’s an added weight. A sadness through tears. A synth-caressed melancholy. A gorgeous final memorial to friends lost.
