The lesser spotted 33.10.3402 surfaces on L.I.E.S. with a solid three tracker. Whilst their alias may sound like something from an early Frozen Border 12", the tracks on show are more crunchy and rickety rooted than the streamlined techno you could mistake 33.10.3402 for producing. LVIV is a ghostly reverb roller while Mecanica no.1 sounds quite like the proto-techno of Mecanica Popular (perhaps named in reference?) while the highlight 13 is a stunning percussive grind of 3D atmospherics and slowed down funk. Absolute no brainer this one and topped off with some dope return of Drexciya style centre label artwork to boot.
