Essential vinyl/digi pressing of this ultra-rare slice of groove/Northern Soul/ proto-Disco vibes from a St. Louis vocal group headed up by band leader, musician and producer Melvin Turnage. The album was recorded, released (in tiny numbers) and disappeared in 1978, before the keys-n-brass stomper of ‘Live Today’ resurfaced on the BBE Comp, Private Wax and Boogie Vol.2 in 2015. Here the label reprises the full Moods experience in all its glistening, synth-shimmering style, and lush.
