Andy Graham drops his third album as Sei A on Will Saul’s Aus Music. Unlike its predecessors Editing Shadows and White Rainbow which were much more dance floor-oriented, Space In Your Mind sees the Scottish producer experiment with more traditional song structure and an emphasis on melody. With vocals from guest collaborators Will Samson and Daudi Matsiko on four of the tracks and verse and chorus repeatedly forming the body of his songs, his work becomes captivating on a whole different level. On ‘Ancestors’, the warm deep house beat carries the soft falsetto vocals – it’s not only here that Sei A displays a great sense of dynamics, gradually introducing melodic elements, building tension throughout.
