Dark Entries serve up the throb again with this seven-track delight from Texan tape dweller, synth-experimenter, Bill Converse. Originally an obscure, 100-copy release from cassette/VHS label Obsolete Future, Dark Entries have done some edits and given this talent a larger platform to shine on. What follows is a sub-aquatic swim through bleeped-out ambient, New Age reverie, and subtly groovin’ Acid-techno – full, always full, of playful melody and tone.
