Hessle Audio drop an EP from newcomer Ploy. ‘Sala One Five’ is whirring and charged up, fit for big rooms and sweatbox basements alike. ‘Move Yourself’ is a percussive dance track somewhere between techno, disco, and dub. But it’s final track ‘Helix’ that offers the most intrigue: it’s got a windswept, Actress-gone-Balearic vibe, and suggests that there’s a lot more to Ploy than meets the eye.
