Rolling closely behind Anthony Child’s recent incredible LP for Dynamic Tension, we strap ourselves in for another well-tooled set of tracks from man like Surgeon. Landing down on veteran techno operator James Ruskin’s Blueprint Records(which turns 20 this year!), the four tracks here range from retro-tribalist stompers (‘Search’), twitchy modular-scorch (‘Deep’), burnt-chrome EBM abstractions (the EP’s highlight piece, ‘Inside’) and the fevered Shackletonisms of ‘Yourself’.
