Two of the instrumental grime scene’s most promising prospects team up for this 12” on the ever-reliable Coyote Records. Aberdeen producer T_A_M has been pretty active over the last few years, releasing on labels such as Tuff Wax and Apothecary Compositions, as well as landing a track on the second Coyote Kings compilation. ‘Watty’ is a real 8-bar gem, a rush of splattering drums and rude seesaw bass. On the flip, Tarquin’s ‘Don’t Get Lemon’ edit scrambles the transmission and gets dangerously unstable.
