Waxwork spoil us again (following their deluxe Taxi Driver set) with this heavyweight deluxe soundtrack issue of Michael Dougherty’s folkloric horror film from 2015, Krampus. The composer on board was Douglas Pipes (previous credits for chillers Monster House, Trick R’ Treat) and his work on Krampus won multiple awards including International Film Music Critics Association "Best Original Score for a Comedy Film 2015". Pipes’ brassy arrangements of Christmas music are truly sublime, and the presentation for this LP is worthy of film and score.
