LNZNDRF is a side project from Scott and Bryan Devendorf of The National and Ben Lanz of Beirut. Out on 4AD, their self-titled debut album feels a lot freer and more exploratory than much of the music the artists work on in their respective groups – the songs are still rocky and euphoric, but were based on extended improvisations and edited down into something resembling a classic structure.
