HKE used to make music that leant towards vaporwave under the name Hong Kong Express, but under his new guise the producer and Dream Catalogue label owner makes more abstract and futuristic sounds. Omnia, out via the great Olde English Spelling Bee (who have been on a roll with recent releases from Ash Koosha and Alice Cohen), is full of bright synths, jagged rhythms, and hi-tech electronic drones. Recommended for fans of Arca, Autechre, and Hyperdub.
