Stark and windswept recordings from Richard Skelton as The Inward Circles, Belated Movements For An Unsanctioned Exhumation August 1st 1984 is a concept album of sorts based around 'The Lindow Man' who was a person who's body was excavated from a peat bog in Cheshire where he had died at some point during the iron age. The music is claustrophobic and haunting much like the tales of how the body came to be buried in the bog, darkness haunts every second and great violent washes of sound come crashing out of the speakers like vast waves but at the same time its cloaked in a far away ambience that creates an almost dream like feeling when played on headphones. Highly recommended listening for anyone into the early witch trial soundtracks of Demdike Stare and the more Northern bound research of the Folklore Tapes collective.
