The elusive Florian Meyer aka Don’t DJ provides three percussive, minimalistic rhythm tracks. Created using gamelan sounds and mathematically generated rhythms, it’s a strange but somewhat hypnotic selection of tracks for the open-minded heads out there. The release comes with a transcription of a conversation between producer Meyer and software engineer Wouter Hisschemöller about the Euclidean rhythm pattern generator and the future of musical production.
