Lobster Theremin mainstay Route 8 operates under his recently coined Q3A alias, making good on his self-titled Black Venison debut with a run on respected Dutch imprint Delsin. Spread through the Space Chambers EP, the producers blend of dub-rich house groove, dreamy synth chords and Detroit hints is as good as anyone’s. First with the A-side, ‘Untitled 1’ settles into a deep 4/4 throb, coated in grubby analogue silt, followed by a more jumped-up, loop-driven, destined to be crowd favourite ‘Untitled 2’. The flipside doesn't disappoint either, opening with shimmering glacial ambience and squirming lysergic licks on ‘Untitled 3’ before finishing with the metallic, Drexciya-inspired standout ‘Untitled 4’. Seriously, this one will never leave your bag.
