Letherette returns to Ninja Tune following the self-titled debut album for the label back in 2013. The Refresh EP features four straight-ahead dance tracks that revive classic ‘90s house sounds but update it with modern production touches and the duo’s own distinctive approach to looping, sampling, and melody. The jazzy, Rhodes-heavy ‘Rayon’ leads the pack but there’s space for classic filter house vibes (‘Look No More’) and deep touches (‘Without You’) along the way.
