Physical Editions present 'Compositions' a four part album series from Tristan Perich. Produced by Tristan with Ensemble Signal, Active Field is the least 1-bit led electronic part of the series but maintains the hypnotic rotations of the previous entries into the series but this time takes a more modern classical slant. The electronics are there but hidden under a vast blanket of avant-garde string arrangements that recall at times more classical folk compositions to the finest Morricone soundtrack ambience. A cinematic way to cap off the first branch of the Compositions series.
