Physical Editions present 'Compositions' a four part album series from Tristan Perich. Produced by Tristan in collaboration with Meehan/Perkins Duo this, the first part Parallels is a forty six minute journey into the crystalised sound world of 1-bit electro sided with classical acoustic instrumentation.Opening with an ever-evolving loop of feedback tones cascading into each other while all the time subtly evolving in tone and texture. After three hypnotic minutes comes the drop (of sorts) and the piece propels itself forward with tones reaching out further but all the time folding back in on themselves. The track picks up a techno momentum around the twenty two minute mark and starts to sound like a mix of Mika Vainio's Ø project being mixed by Lorenzo Senni. Absolutely incredible gear sure to blow minds the second it starts.
