Bristol-based multi-instrumentalist Memotome releases a new album via Black Acre. Memotome is a unique artist, able to bring together a range of musical styles and different instruments and unify them with his singular production style. There’s electronic production, vocal pop songwriting, neoclassical, ambient, minimalism, jazz, UK funky, and even heavy post-rock all on display here, yet it never collapses under the weight of its ideas. The result is dark, foreboding, and engrossing.
