Yale University (?!) student Zack Seckoff shows he’s more than a highly academic cat by proving his production chops on this debut album via Daddy Kev’s Alpha Pup. Includes a collaboration with Brainfeeder space-cadet Thundercat while other tracks feature two of L.A.’s best kept secrets, Nikko Grey and Def Sound. Like all the great Low End Theory alumni, Seckoff has a wicked way playing and blurring the boundaries between abstract electronica, free–jazz space, and heavy LA bass-bump.
