Everything ever released by Pekka Airaksinen is always worth a look in, but this has completely blown our heads off. Mangala is composed of work from the mid 80's and features five tracks that are some of the finest productions from Pekka's world. Completely out of time with anything else around when it was originally composed these five vast portraits of sound blend between new age dawdles to robost jazz improv. This is seriously deep listening that you can get lost in for days on end, we advise taking a deep breath before diving in.
