This is the kind of album that will cause polar reactions. The idea of a David Bowie covers album may offend the average Bowie die-hard, but to be honest it's quite good. Except for one or two stinkers (avoid the dreadful version of 'Ashes To Ashes') the artists featured have repectfully risen to the task.

There's camp disco versions of 'Loving The Alien' by Lex records' signing , Heartbreak and 'Magic Dance' by Kelley Polar. Even Carl Craig features with a Revolting Cocks style version of 'Looking For Water' and micro-popstar, Matthew Dear, tackles 'Sound & Vision'. Other highlights are Susumu Yokota's version of 'Golden Years' and 'Repetition', this time by The Emperor Machine.
