Bristol-based instrumental grime producer Tom E. Vercetti – a solo producer as well as a member of Planet Mu-signed trio Silk Road Assassins – makes his debut release for Coyote Records. ‘Future Perfect’ has been appearing in the DJ sets of the small cluster of artists associated with clubnights like Boxed for a while now, and so for that small audience the release has been a long time coming. The title track is an evocative piece of electronica, while ‘Fugitive’ takes a more direct approach by fixing a cutting bassline under the track’s twinkling melodies. ‘Infinite Plane’ is another wide-eyed quasi-club track, and rounding out the package is a cuboid remix by labelmate Chemist.
