Voorn is a veteran Dutch musician who was pivotal in establishing a vital connection between Detroit and Amsterdam. That pioneer status has seen him release on a panoply of important imprints such as R&S, Cache, Night Vision, and most recently, London’s Third Ear Recordings. Here, he kicks off 2016 back in the ‘Dam with this double LP pack on Rush Hour. Voorn’s fourth studio album sees the producer in sparkling form with eleven tracks of promised “high-tech funk”, and dreamy, long-form techno narratives baked in neon.
