Since 1998, Kouhei Matsunaga – also known as NHK, NHK yx Koyxen, NHK yx, and so on – has released on acclaimed labels PAN, Diagonal, Raster-Noton, and Skam and worked with Merzbow, Laurel Halo, Julia Holter, and Autechre’s Sean Booth amongst others. This release for Sheffield-based Computer Club (a sister label of Central Processing Unit) is another addition to his CV, loaded with glitchy electronic abstractions, gurgling electro, and bass-heavy drum tracks.
