Mute spin off Liberation Technologies invite Physical Therapy in for a boisterous, breakbeat fuelled frenzy on their first release of 2015. The EP follows the same rowdy formula shown on his recent UTTU outing, moving from the spluttering analogue drum mirth of ‘Hit The Breaks’, to the sinewy industrial stomp of ‘Mahnbescheid’ and ‘ardcore tinged, all-out warehouse hysteria on ‘Tell Me’. The quality continues on the flip, first with rollicking drum breaks and woozy cosmic melody on ‘Clean Slate’, whilst ‘Pointilism’ pairs a hulking drum beat to dizzying, refracted synth gloss for an experimental piece with true dance floor potential.
