Sully returned in 2015 with Flock, a EP of emotionally resonant sound system music. While Sully’s previous releases have appeared on labels like Keysound, Flock lands on Fracture and Neptune’s label Astrophonica. The 12” channels the jungle breaks, dubstep basslines, and grime melodies that have appeared across his work, but there’s a somewhat more introspective quality at play here, with expressive melodies rendered on crystalline synths.
