Tinariwen release a live album recorded at the Bouffes du Nord in Paris on Saturday 13th December 2014, through Wedge. While their records all have their own individual narrative and weather which the collective reinvent time and time again, it is on the live setting that a musical project this elaborate is able to really flourish. Using guitar and tindé (small drum covered by goatskin), their 12 song setlist was performed alongside Lalla Badi, the 75-year-old ambassador of Tamashek culture. A hypnotising and very special performance that will probably never be recreated.
