Rex The Dog uses his custom-built modular synthesizer to craft the tracks on his latest EP, You Are A Blade. The title track is an evocative yet dancefloor-pummelling piece of techno with a throbbing low-end. ‘Musik Hypnotises’ is a lean ‘n’ mean acid track, while ‘Wasp Factory’ imagines what squelchy minimal synth might sound like if it was paired with the pitched-down diva vocals that litter chart-friendly house pop.
