Nicolas Jaar finally deliveres the goods with a digital edition of his Nymphs I. Don't Break My Love starts off with that wonderfully familiar sound of vinyl crackle and a succession of echo drenched snare's while the track slowly crafts out its narrative and at the 2.10 min mark a blindin' dislocation of the senses comes into play with a swift outside looking out garage drum sequence, imagine a 2015 update of Untold's Beacon with a bit of Untrue sprinkled in for good measure but all executed in Jaar's signature sound. Joining the dots on the other side is the half time house roller Why Didn't You Save Me. talking the same approach to the digitized dilemma of the drums Jaar carefully crafts whats sure to be a highlight in his discography, the track gallops along the percussion jumping in between tempos while keeping a melancholy tilt in its own unique abstracted way. Super sharp.
