Berlin institution René Pawlowitz, known as Shed, got himself a new moniker again. Reemerging as Zigg Gonzalezz on his old-school worshiping Power House platform, he opts for highly intense subs and crisp percussion. The dynamic production makes the title track stand out — there’s a sense of depth and tangibility in his hardware arrangements that make you feel like you’re standing in the middle of the song. Hovering splashes of synths adorn the muscular rhythmic framework of ‘High Jackin’. ’The Kind’ is a denser multi track affair that also comes in a heavily propulsive, hard hitting stripped back ’Storm Dub’ version.
