Alexander Lewis is an alias of Guy Brewer, also known as techno producer Shifted and formerly one half of Metalheadz-associated drum’n’bass duo Commix. Brewer has been releasing drone music as Alexander Lewis since 2013 on labels like Blackest Ever Black and Total Black, but the Occupying The Middle Circle EP arrives on Vereker’s label Endangered Species. As with all of Brewer’s aliases there is an immaculate attention to detail in the sound design and textural makeup of this release, travelling through dark, shapeless ambient and industrial electronics.
