Rejoice! Levon Vincent and Anthony Parasole resurrect their phenomenally popular co-managed Deconstruct Music imprint after a three-year break with a debut from Parasole himself. Continuing on the established aesthetics of the label, both cuts sit equidistant between house and techno; starting with the muscled-bound 4/4 throb of ‘Wild Life’, fitted out with rave sirens and modulating, Basic Channel chords for the 4am, heads down crowd. Flip over for the deeper excursion of ‘In The Stars’, again keeping the bass and drums heavy but offsetting with glacial synth notes and engineered for maximum impact on the ‘floor. As always with this label, don’t sleep!
