After releases on labels including Opal Tapes and NNA Tapes, Pat Murano’s Decimus project comes through with two lengthy compositions on Further Records (Scuba Death, Donato Dozzy). Decimus 7 is an abrasive, experimental noise album that occasionally reveals moments of beauty. The first number is more hostile, all Hospital Records screeching and moaning synthesisers. On the flip Decimus instersperses similar textures with passages of murky ambience in a manner reminiscent of Huerco S.
