Nine-track sequel to 2014’s well-received After Forever, Invisible Switch witnesses New Jersey’s Joey Anderson return to the fold. With previous on J Qu’s Strength Music, Anthony Parasole and Levon Vincent’s Deconstruct Music, Anderson has built some serious credibility in shaping sumptuous and elegant deep house moves, forged in the circuits. Analogue drum machines are the metronome on which aquatic Drexciyan synthtopias are laid, squirming melodies writhe, basslines bubble, and Jamal Moss rhythm-abstraction is cut. A near perfect end to a strong year for the Dutch label/festival.
