London via South Yorkshire producer Mella Dee has been wowing the darker corners of dance music since 2012, racking up releases on quality underground operators like Slit Jockey, Forefront, Coyote Records, Omena and most recently Digital Soundboy with the jungle flecked, ‘ardkore miasma of his ‘Rhythm Nation’ beat-tape. Here and now he bounces down onto Bristol /London imprint Lobster Boy (created by Redlight) for a fierce three-tracker caked in gnarled breaks, soundboy FX, and chunky-warm bass rhythms beaming in the after-glow of peak-time old school rave memory.
