Indie giants XL Recordings have been reconnecting with their rave roots by issuing releases by Powell, Zomby, and Special Request. Here they sign UK deep tech producer Hugo Massien for the Kontrol EP. Massien differs from those other artists stylistically, but the music on his Kontrol EP shares a similar spirit and energy. This is dark, deep music designed to be played on big systems during the afterhours.
