Marvellous esoteric horror curio here with Nightsatan and the Loops Of Doom ! A 2013 Finnish film, the synopsis goes a little like this… post-holocaust action adventure set on the deserted wastelands of Eastern Finland in 2034. A trio of synthesizer warriors calling themselves Nightsatan conduct musical rituals in order to maintain what is left of their sanity. Oh yes, this is an actual film. The trio of warriors forge away in your defence with Zombi-fried arpeggios, Goblin fills and Carpenter drones. The band, apparently are self-proclaimed ‘Laser Metal’ gurus, and are onto their third record. Who are Bleep to argue? This is heavy, melodic material primed for the horror heads and synth fantasists alike.
