Real Estate's frontman releases his debut album through Domino. On the softer end of the psychedelia pop spectrum than Real Estate, the guitarist presents a formidable first solo full-length. Through his lyrics, he captivatingly expresses the experiences he’s made since he became a father — his sugar-sweet vocals melt right into the guitar arpeggios. Harmonic surprises await in chorusses – take ’Northern Highway’ for example, and even the instrumental arrangements, such as the string and flute driven title track, carry his stories further.
