Luca Lozano follows a healthy string of releases on Sex Tags UFO & UTTU with the Outer Space EP, an ace little release for the exciting Super Rhythm Trax label. Here he pays homage to Yorkshire bleep’n’bass, slicing up breakbeats and sculpting some bassbin-wrecking sub frequencies across its two tracks. But Lozano is no throwback artist, as witnessed on title track ‘Outer Space’, where he introduces a more contemporary grimy edge to his LFO-esque sounds.
