Night Slugs CEO James Connolly aka L-Vis 1990 drops down a triptych of high-def club heaters on the Jimmy Edgar / Machinedrum imprint, Ultramajic. Here Connolly dons his Dance System nom-de-disco (previous on Clone Jack For Daze) where he takes the classic 80s Chi-town house template and plugs it into a 21st Century framework. Tip from the three is the Extended Mix of ‘Turbulence’ which writhes on tracky rhythm lines and dry Dance Mania percussion, ever-building into something ecstatic, euphoric. Hopefully a taster of more to come from this precocious producer.
