Horrors synth freak Tom Furse follows up his 2015 leftfield outing on Lo Recordings with another solo collection of disco-referencing electronica on Dave Maclean’s (Django Django) Kick + Clap imprint. It’s an upbeat collection of topsy-turvy melodies and ‘floor friendly rhythm, leading from the front with the funk laced ‘Pt 1’, moving through the more cosmic krautrock plains of ‘Pt2’ before returning to earth with the robotic vocoder grove of ‘Pt 3’. From here, Furse keeps his attention on the ‘floor, with the catchy cyborg manoeuvres of ‘Pt4’ and woozier pinch-bender ‘Pt 5’.
