Oslo artist Andre Bratten released his debut album via Prins Thomas’s label Full Pupp in 2013, and followed it up by releasing the huge club hit ‘Trommer & Bass’ soon after. But anyone expecting an album of dancefloor bangers on his second album will have to search elsewhere. Instead, Gode is an expressive record made up of piano, field recordings, strings, tape machine hiss, and delicate vocals, carrying shades of Arvo Pärt, Brian Eno and fellow Norwegian ambient icon Biosphere.
