Dixon & Amè’s Innervisions have forever sought to reach into newer strains of house and techno, here they develop that idea further with mysterious producer, Nuiton and his debut EP – Simple Process. Lead track ‘Flashback’ Feat. Diel is a hypnotic slice of Euro loop-techno (dust coated kicks, and day-glo arps) which twists and turns in time-signature and is trailed by a bizarre monologue from Diel “Chips, Analogue, Distortion” etc. Number 2 ‘Way Out’ meanwhile is a jacking chunk of shimmering tech, lathered in samples. Then Nuiton closes matters most surprisingly, most beautifully with an ambient track of Spanish guitar flecked in reverb.
