Consumer Electronics is Phillip Best. Noise music provocateur, shouty-angry vocalist of Ramleh, Skullflower, and most notoriously Whitehouse. In 2015 Consumer Electronics also consists of fellow bon viveur, and circuit deviant, Russell Haswell alongside Best’s wife Sarah Froelich. The trio melted onto Diagonal vinyl earlier in the year in a blaze of swearing and cursing, and here they land onto iconic underground imprint Harbinger Sound for a record caked in violent electronics and vitriolic lyrics. Track titles include “Learn Your Fucking Place", 'Knives Cut', and 'Condition Of A Hole' –these are all wondrous things. Complete with an inner sleeve featuring all the –often staggering- lyrics. An edition of 1000 copies is what you have here and is probably all you’re getting.
