Sleep Codes founder steps up to the pulpit for Bedouin Records with this special 12” release where Roly Porter comes in on remix duties. The sonic standpoint of Imaginary Forces has traveled over the years from terrains of choppy drum ’n’ bass right through to slicing breakcore and left-field experimental composition. On Shift Work, the murkier realms of his arsenal are explored for a rugged and testing couple of tracks based around his working class background. Porter’s retake on Council Flat slots in to that aesthetic perfectly giving the release a muzzled, stirring finale.
