Bleep

BleeD, the record label arm formed by the leading London techno promoters of the same name, drop their second release. Rote is a low-key collaboration between Volte-Face (label head at BleeD) and Daniel Avery (responsible for breakthrough dance album Drone Logic). The two tracks here are plainly-titled, dancefloor-minded, space-echoed techno cuts: ‘Rote 1’ is a workmanlike peak-time track, while ‘Rote 2’ transforms quite subtly from a heads-down drum track into pure euphoria. Remixes include a deep club cut by DJ Nobu and a more abstracted version by Sverca.
