Bing & Ruth are a New York-based minimalist/modern classical ensemble led by pianist David Moore who received huge critical acclaim for their gorgeous album Tomorrow Was The Golden Age, released via RVNG Intl. in 2014. Now, RVNG are reissuing Bing & Ruth’s City Lake, initially put out in extremely limited quantities back in 2009. City Lake features 11 musicians and carries the same graceful ambient qualities of Tomorrow Was The Golden Age, but there is a more percussive element to their work that the latter album lacked.
