Following the release of his self-titled debut album earlier in 2015, Pearson Sound returns with a self-released 12” single. ‘Thaw Cycle’ and ‘Freeze Cycle’ are both dancefloor-focused cuts. The former opens with bouncing percussion, slowly introduces a powerful and emotional melody, and then drops back into its raw rhythm. The latter track is a more straightforward club tool, a paranoid warehouse track with cascading synths and hard-as-nails drum work.
